We have two exciting science fiction announcements today! First, please meet our newest author, Jennifer Lee Rossman. We'll be publishing her novel JACK JETSTARK'S INTERGALACTIC FREAKSHOW in early 2019. When the music that fuels their transformations stops playing, the performers in Jack Jetstark's intergalactic freakshow gain real powers and set off on adventure to end a war and overthrow a corrupt ruler... who happens to be Jack's first love.

Jennifer Lee Rossman is a science fiction geek from Oneonta, New York, where she cross stitches, watches Doctor Who, and threatens to run over people with her wheelchair. Her work has been featured in Circuits & Slippers, Syntax & Salt, and Mrs. Claus: Not the Fairy Tale They Say. She blogs at http://jenniferleerossman.blogspot.com/ and Tweets at https://twitter.com/JenLRossman

And next, we're thrilled to announce that Wendy Nikel's time travel novella, THE CONTINUUM, out January 23, 2018, will have a sequel, titled THE GRANDMOTHER PARADOX. Tentatively, we'll have this one out in late 2018. Here's what to expect:
Elise Morley's life is in danger… generations before her birth.

When Dr. Wells, the head of the Place in Time Travel Agency, learns that someone's trying to track down the ancestors of his star employee, there are few people he can turn to without revealing her secrets. But who better to jump down the timeline and rescue Elise from being snuffed out of existence four generations before she's born than the very person whose life she saved a hundred years in the future?

Juliette Argent, however, isn't an easy woman to protect. The assistant to a traveling magician in the year 1893, she's bold and fearless, and has a fascination with time travel, of all things. Can a traveler from the future, with his foreknowledge, keep her safe from harm and keep his purpose there a secret? Or will his presence there only entangle the timeline more?
Pre-order The Continuum in paperback at a discount! Also available in ebook from Amazon, B&N, iBooks, and Kobo.

It's time for our second bi-annual bestsellers list! Want to see how it stacks up to the first half of 2017? That list is here. Below, you'll find our top 10 bestsellers for the first half of 2017, as well as a list of our top 10 bestsellers of all time. Is your favorite on these lists? Let us know in the comments!

A Few Notes on These Rankings:
  • This list takes into account all vendors (Amazon, iTunes, convention tables, etc.), from all countries, in both ebook and paperback.
  • Vendors may not report sales for one to three months after the actual sale, so even though I'm calling this list "second half of 2017," it contains numbers ranging from April 2017 to October 2017, depending on vendor reports.

We're thrilled to show off the cover for INTO THE MOONLESS NIGHT by A.E. Decker. The third book in A.E. Decker's fun Moonfall Mayhem fantasy series will be available in ebook and paperback March 20, 2018.

Catch Starthorne has spent a lifetime running from the prophecy that names him as the one who will save the shifter race, but now that he has returned to his home in Clawcrags, he may have to face his destiny. Determined to slip through fate’s fingers, Catch sows confusion, making friends from foes, mixing up the occasional sleeping death potion, and matching wits with an overbearing lion-shifter, who appears to have plans of his own.

While Catch schemes, Ascot works to retrieve him with the help of a witch and a pair of madcap shifter rebels. But every attempt to reach him earns her fresh enemies and embroils her ever deeper in the conspiracies surrounding the prophecy. After five hundred years of repressed tension and social strife, the Clawcrags are ready to explode—and it sometimes seems someone’s working hard to see that they do!

Thanks to artist Nicole Vandever for this wonderful original illustration!

“Falling of the Moon is a fantasy fairytale like nothing I have read before. Mystery and secrets take you to a fantastic mystical world sure to have a book two. It is Pirates of the Caribbean meets Cinderella. Looking forward to Ascot’s next adventure. Strong and determined with her loyal friends she will certainly make the Moonfall Mayhem a great series of books. I am ecstatic that this is just the start to what will be a truly great trilogy.”
