I planned a very ambitious schedule when I took over as Editor-in-Chief, and in the last couple of months we've had two new releases, as well as cover reveals and giveaways galore. We have some absolutely fantastic books coming out this summer, and more news to announce soon.

But here's the big announcement for today:

Welcome our new Publicity Manager: Cary Vandever

It's always tough to say goodbye, but our Publicity Manager Elizabeth Wagner, who was one of the co-founders of World Weaver Press, is moving on to other things. Our current Publicity Assistant, Cary Vandever, will be stepping up to take her place. Here's what Elizabeth has to say in parting:
I am humbled to have worked with such talented authors during my time as Publicity Manager for World Weaver Press, and honored to have helped share such original and creative works with readers of speculative fiction. When Eileen and I first starting laying the groundwork for the press five years ago, we had a mission to reach readers who shared in our same passions for quality fantasy, paranormal, and science fiction. As hard as it is to say goodbye to such a rewarding part of my life as I move onto the next adventure, I am excited to welcome the very talented Cary Vandever to the role of Publicity Manager. I can’t wait to see where World Weaver Press goes from here, and what titles of superb speculative fiction they have yet to place into readers’ hands.
Here's a little bit about Cary:
An artist and writer, Cary Vandever has an AA in graphic design and a BBA and MBA in marketing. She's been drawing since she could pick up one thing and drag it across another (much to her mother's dismay at times). When not drawing or writing about the delightfully dark worlds and creatures in her head, she battles demons and bad guys in Elder Scrolls Online to get in touch with her inner heroine. This usually ends with her inner heroine getting distracted by treasure chests and spending a lot of time dead while her guild mates find glory in the battles around her corpse, but we don't talk about that. She has a thing for potentially-haunted forests, hot werewolf twins, a good cup of coffee, and cats who drool.
We're always interested in expanding our press contacts, so if you are a reviewer or blogger who would like to be involved with our upcoming releases, now would be a great time to toss Cary an email. Or if you are a reader or writer who just wants to keep up with our news about discounts, giveaways, submission guidelines, and new releases, you can join our newsletter here.

Cary has been a lot of fun to work with so far, and I am thrilled to have her on the World  Weaver Press team.

I can't wait to dive into all these books. CAMPAIGN 2100 was delightful and diverted me from the current political scene. Looking forward to seeing your dreams for World Weaver Press become the impetus for new possibilities in my life. Tekay
